Exit Glacier Hike

Just up the road from Seward Windsong Lodge is the jewel of the Resurrection River Valley: Exit Glacier. This massive wall of blue ice descends the mountainside from the Harding Ice Field down to Resurrection River.

Beautiful walking trails wind through the alders and rock croppings to this beautiful mass of glistening ice. Be sure to join one of our guided tours out to this breathtaking scene during your stay at the lodge.

Guided Walking Tour

Seward Windsong Lodge offers three daily guided tours of Exit Glacier. Your naturalist guide provides insightful narration about the topography, vegetation and natural habitats surrounding a glacial environment. Walking routes vary based on tour departure and may include the Overlook Loop Trail and/or the Nature Trail.

Departure Times: 8:15am, 3:00pm, 6:30pm
Duration: 2 hours
