What to Pack?
The Seward Windsong Lodge is located in the temperate rain forest valley. Whether you are hiking to Exit Glacier, spending a day on the water with Kenai Fjords Tours viewing wildlife and glaciers or sitting out on our deck enjoying the summer sun, it is important that you have the proper clothing. We recommend you bring layered clothing, a wind/water proof jacket, sun glasses, binoculars, camera and good walking shoes for your comfort.
If you booked a cruisetour package, typically your cruise line or tour provider will be the contact for your transfers to the Seward Windsong Lodge and assist you with your luggage.
If you booked your room directly with Seward Windsong Lodge or via our packaging company, Alaska Heritage Tours, we can assist you in transferring to the lodge once you have disembarked from the ship. Collect your luggage and give us a call locally at 907-224-7116. We'll meet you at the cruise ship terminal and assist you with the transfser of your luggage. Once at the lodge, we offer complimentary local shuttle service to the Seward Small Boat Harbor, the Alaska SeaLife Center, and the Alaska Railroad depot.
