Our experienced reservations team can help plan your visit to Seward Windsong Lodge as part of your Alaska vacation. We can also help arrange extended lodging in Alaska, transportation throughout Alaska and a variety of activities along the way to make your vacation memorable.
What to Pack?
Seward Windsong Lodge is located in the temperate rain forest valley. Whether you’re hiking to Exit Glacier, spending a day viewing wildlife and glaciers with Kenai Fjords Tours or sitting out on our deck enjoying the summer sun, it’s important that you have the proper clothing. It’s best to dress in layers, so you can adjust to changing temperatures. We always recommend that guests bring a wind/water proof jacket, sunglasses, binoculars, camera and good comfortable walking shoes.
If you booked a cruisetour package, typically your cruise line or tour provider will be the contact for your transfers to the Lodge and assist you with your luggage.
If you booked your room directly with Seward Windsong Lodge or via our packaging company, Alaska Heritage Tours, we can assist you in transferring to the Lodge once you have disembarked from the ship. Collect your luggage and give us a call locally at 907-224-7116. We’ll meet you at the cruise ship terminal and assist you with the transfser of your luggage. Once at the lodge, we offer complimentary local shuttle service to the Seward Small Boat Harbor, the Alaska SeaLife Center, and the Alaska Railroad depot.
